Gaëlle Bourges
Gaëlle Bourges studied ballet, contemporary dance, and modern literature before beginning to create and co-create short dance pieces (Compagnie du K, Groupe Raoul Batz, Solos). She holds a degree in Performing Arts from the University of Paris VIII and is also a Somatic Movement Educator (Body-Mind Centering School). In 2009, she came to international attention with her work ›Je baise les yeux‹, a lecture performance about the practice of striptease presented at the Festival Les Antipodes in Brest. Her latest work ›La belle indifférence‹ was created in 2010. Gaëlle Bourges has toured extensively with both productions in Europe while continuing to collaborate on projects with other artists.
