... was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. He began his training at Bellas Artes Academy of Dance under the direction of Juan Jose Burgos and Sheila Mckay. Mr. Anaya received a scholarship to continue his studies at the Royal Winnepeg Ballet School, Joffrey Ballet School, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center and Perry Dance II. He danced with Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane from 1996 to 2001. This is his first season with White Oak Dance Project. He would like to extend special thanks to Gretchen Nash.
