Drawing on humour, improvisation, the pitfalls of public acting, playing and dancing, his own stage personality and the presence of the audience, the Dutch performer Frans Poelstra sets out to fathom the inevitability of a choreographer of a certain age turning to Bach. How will he survive in a battle with the Goldberg variations on an official dance stage? With the help of his congenial dramaturge, Robert Steijn, can he avoid the traps of an improvised performance?
From and with: Frans Poelstra, Robert Steijn
Music: Goldberg-Variationen by Bach
