Presale starts soon
During the ›Kids Days‹, PACT Zollverein warmly invites both children and adults to embark on a journey into the world of their imagination – come along and discover exciting new dimensions of seeing, hearing, and creativity!
›Murmur‹ is acrobatic sound theatre that captivates the senses and enchants both children and adults alike. Surrounded by a landscape of speakers and an audience equipped with murmuring backpacks, performer Camiel Corneille leaps, tumbles, rolls, and soars as he playfully strives to compose a wonderful universe full of sounds. Purring cats, swarming bees, revving engines, roaring winds and seas all intertwine to create a living, emerging soundscape conjured by Camiel’s physical skill and acrobatic excellence. Ultimately, ›Murmur‹ is a joyful sensory adventure for anyone who has ever dreamed of being more than just human.
In the afternoon, the performance ›crying creatures crying‹ invites you to step into a world of creatures that inhabit our desires, hopes, and despairs. Like the fragments of a dream, tender, fleeting stories emerge—everyday objects morph into magical creatures and otherworldly landscapes. Before choreographer Lee Méir brings her imaginative figures to life on stage and the familiar gives way to the extraordinary, the audience is invited to join in the creative process. Using the provided materials, you can craft your own fantastical beings—or even transform yourself into one!
Designed to be equally engaging for both adults and children, ›crying creatures crying‹ invites the audience to an inclusive experience, one which is open for interpretation, yet remains specific in its dedication to the relation between craft and the boundless power of imagination.
