NINE FINGER
- German premiere
- Performance Dance
Nine Finger brings together three remarkable artists for the first time - Rosas dancer Fumiyo Ikeda, artist and physical actor, Benjamin Verdonck, and choreographer Alain Platel. The project draws on Beasts of No Nation, the harrowing debut novel by Uzodinma Iweala, a 23 year old American of Nigerian origin, which looks at perversity of war and the fragility of humanity through the eyes of Agu, a child soldier who is both seduced and terrified by the meaningless savagery of a civil war.
