Alexander Kerlin

Alexander Kerlin was born in 1980 and since 2001 studies Theatre, Psychology and Economics at the Friedrich Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. In 2003/2004 he was an intern at the Theater a.d. Ruhr in Mülheim focusing on stage direction and dramaturgy. He has participated as a performer and director in numerous student theatre projects. His special interest lies in contemporary theatre, choral theatre and the Old Testament and he currently leads a student prose seminar on the subject of "Antique constellations in film". In 2005 he organised a German-French colloquium on the subject of "non-dramatic theatre" with Jean Jourdheuil and Nikolaus Müller-Schöll.
