In 2024, ›SOUND ON‹ enters its much awaited second round! What's happening this time? The team from BeatBastelnintroduces the topic of ›Producing‹. The experienced producer, DJ, and radio host, Raffi Balboa (OK Kid), is coaching in ›Advanced Producing‹. Gîn Bali gives you an insight into her DJing philosophy and shows you her workflow on the CDJs, while Ella O'Brien-Coker shares tangible tips for (self-)management in the music industry. Rapper Horst Wegener, also known as Jesué, helps participants to refine songs and lyrics, while Joël-Joâo delves deep into songwriting. Additionally, Benjamin and Anna from Figur Lemur will be on hand sharing valuable know-how about music videos and live sound.

New York, Paris, London, the Ruhr District. Spot the odd one out? Why only look towards famous international artists when the next big talents live right next door? ›SOUND ON Vol. 1‹ builds a bridge between Ruhr artists who have made it onto international stages and music-hungry young Ruhr people. Participants can take part in one of the following four workshops: song writing with Amilli and Serious Klein (rap, melody and lyrics), producing with Raffi Balboa (beat making and sound recordings), social media with Naina (strategy development, technical tools), DJ-ing with Hoe__mies (working with control desks and turntables; mixing, transitions).
