Annika Meiwald-Walter, born 1976, is a certified movement therapist and gymnastics teacher. She studied at the Dore Jacobs vocational college in Essen and at the Franz Sales vocational college. She works as a movement therapist for the AWO in Essen and the City of Gelsenkirchen and is an advisor in early childhood movement at the AWO in Essen. Annika Meiwald-Walter gives seminars on movement and autogenic training for children and adults, teaches dance and rhythm for young children at the Essen Sports Association and ballet for children up to the age of 12. In addition, she leads project related movement workshops for hearing impaired and deaf children.
