... was born in Ping-Dong in Taiwan. He studied dance at the Kaohsiung Tsoying Senior High School Tanz and subsequently joined the Kaohsiung Dance Company. In 1992 he completed a diploma at the National Institute of Art Dance Department in Taipei where his training included ballet, modern dance, Peking Opera und Tai Chi Chuan. Under the direction of Lin Hwai-Min, Chun-Hsien Wu was a soloist with the Cloud Gate Dance Theater from 1994 to 2000. Since 2000, he has worked on various collaborative projects with the dancer, Chrystel Guillebeaud.
