American choreographer and dancer Eleanor Bauer studied at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. As a performer, she has worked for David Zambrano, Mette Ingvartsen, Trisha Brown, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Xavier Le Roy and Boris Charmatz.Her pieces ›ELEANOR!‹, ›At Large‹ and ›(BIG GIRLS DO BIG THINGS)‹have toured internationally to critical acclaim. In 2011 she premiered a sextet entitled ›A Dance for the Newest Age (the triangle piece)‹, as the first part of a past-present-future trilogy. The German premiere of the second part entitled ›Tentative Assembly (the tent piece)‹ will be held at PACT Zollverein in February 2013. In 2013 Eleanor Bauer will close the trilogy with ›Midday and Eternity (the mirror piece)‹.
