Ewa Jaros

... was born in 1977 and studied philosophy at the University of Silesia in Katowice and the Silesian University in Opava (PL). In Silesia she has collaborated with local artists (musicians, painters, dancers), with the Theatre of Open Creation from Krakow and participated in projects with the Silesian Dance Theatre. She currently lives Warsaw where she works as a choreographer, dancer and yoga teacher.Das Projekt Yi-Ya

Yi-Ya is a project inspired by various contemporary philosophical and psychological concepts but most significantly by C.G. Jung's theory of individuation. The project aims to research and investigate psychological and spiritual transformations that people undergo today. Ewa Jaros and Anita Wach's working process involves improvisation techniques and draws on sources such as A. Mindell's dreambody process and J. Grotowski's work on physical actions.
