Friederike Plafki
Friederike Plafki studied classical and modern dance in Leipzig and Dresden and trained as a physiotherapist before completing a further 3 years dance training in Berlin. In 2001 she won first prize for the best German Dance Solo at the euro-scene Leipzig festival of contemporary European theatre. She has created numerous works in close collaboration with Leipzig choreographer, Heike Hennig, including the solo "sosha" which they developed for the "westend unfinished" performance series. In addition she has worked with the Berlin based choreographers Ingo Reulecke, Lukas Matthaei and Sasha Waltz (Dialoge 4). In residency at PACT Zollverein, Friederike is currently undertaking movement research with six dancers.
