Ijodee Dance Company was founded in 1998 by Adedayo Muslim Liadi. The company has taken part in many tours and international festivals. It was awarded a grant by jant-bi (Senegal) to train two dancers every year. The company strives to raise modern African dance from its marginal status and make it a major art.
