Ingo Reulecke
... studied modern dance at the "Tanzraum Central Parc" before taking a degree in choreography at the Ernst Busch Academy in Berlin in 1998. Following two separate scholarships from the Berlin Senate to study for several months in New York he was awarded a further yearlong scholarship for New York from DAAD in 1998. He has danced in many projects with artists including Kirstie Simson, Lance Gries and David Hurwith in New York. Since 1997 he has been invited to show his work "EKLIPSE" at the German Dance Platform in Munich for the Bagnolet International Choreography Competition (1997), "SHEIK YERBOUTI" at the International Dance Festival NRW (1998) and "GESELLSCHAFT 1" at the International Beckett Festival in Berlin (2000) and the Star Dust Festival in Stockholm. In addition to choreographing, Ingo Reulecke is a guest teacher for contact improvisation at the Ernst Busch Academy in Berlin and the Palucca School in Dresden. Since 1998 he is choreographer in residence at the Tanzfabrik Berlin and since 2001 in Fylkingen (Stockholm) where he created his production "Make it a double". Most recently he has performed in a solo production by Christoph Winkler that was presented at the Bagnolet Platform in Leipzig.
