Josef Nadj
Born in Vojvodina in former Yugoslavia, Josef Nadj moved to France in the 1980's where he studied with Marceau and has worked with choreographers Mark Tompkins, Catherine Diverres and Francois Verret. In 1986 he founded his own company and choreographed his first piece Le Canard Pékinois. Since 1987 he has created more than a dozen works for his ensemble with which they have toured worldwide. Other works include Cri du Camelon for the French National Circus School and the solo Petit psaume du matin for the Pina Bausch company member, Dominique Mercy. Since 1995, Josef Nadj directs the Centre Chorégraphique National d'Orleans.
