In-Jung Jun
... was born in Korea and studied contemporary and traditional dance at Sunhwa High School of the Arts and Seongkyunkwan University in Seoul. She was a member of the Shizuoka Performing Art Center in Japan from 1998-2000, where she worked with Jean-Claude Galotta. In 2000, she moved to Germany, where she danced in productions by Rudolpho Leoni and Vera Sander. In-Jung Jun began producing her own choreographies between 1996-1998 and in connection with her project "Variety of Spaces" (1996)created a variety of different works in collaboration with film, video, theatre, fashion and graphic artists. Since then she has added several more works to her list including the solo "Wound Clockwork" (2001), the group choreography "O2 - Hole, two meters deep" (2002) and, most recently, the duo "Boxring" and the solo "This or That" (2003). Her last three productions have been supported by PACT Zollverein.
