... was born in 1970 in Dortmund and absolved a Drama, Theater and Media course in Gießen before beginning to study Film/Television at the Fachhochschule Dortmund University of Applied Sciences in 1998. He spent the winter term of 2002/2003 as an international exchange student at the Film School of Cuba.
