Dancer, choreographer and teacher, Keren Levi was born in Israel where she trained at The School of the Kibbutz Dance Company. Since 1990 she has danced for companies and independent choreographers including the Kibbutz Dance Company, Batsheva, Philippe Blanchard, Joaquiem Sabate and Diane Eishout & Frank Handler. She began choreographing her own work in 1996 and has been teaching modern technique as well as composition and improvisation in Europe since 1997. She has taught for, amongst others, the Henny Jurriens Foundation in Amsterdam, the Amsterdam Theatre School, The Rotterdam Dance Academy, Impuls Tanz Vienna, SEAD, Charleroi/Danses and the tanzhaus nrw.
