Lena Biresch originally comes from the theater field, where she worked as an assistant, playwright and director. Since 2016, she has been increasingly involved with new immersive and interactive media, which led to her training as a game programmer with a focus on virtual reality, which she completed with a diploma in 2020. Since then, she has been working as a freelance virtual reality experience designer at the intersection of games and digital art and has been a research fellow and artist in residence at the Academy for Theatre and Digitality in Dortmund, Schaubude Berlin (Germany) and Moskosel Creative Lab (Sweden), among others.
