Lucia Glass
Lucia Glass (Berlin/Hamburg) works in the fields of contemporary choreography, performance and installation. In 2001 she graduated from the Hoogeschool voor de Kunsten, European Dance Development Centre, Arnhem/NL. She develops performances for the stage and presents her work in gallery spaces. Recent works are: ›Verstärker‹ (2007), ‘Bernhard tanzt’ (2008), ›The Setting‹ (2008). As a dancer and artistic collaborator she worked with various choreographers such as Eszter Salamon, Mette Ingvartsen and Thomas Lehmen performing at Festivals throughout Europe. In 2008 she received a 9-month scholarship as artist in residence at K3 – Choreographic Centre Hamburg and a work scholarship from the Berlin Senate. In 2009 she was invited to work in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova and received a grant to travel to Singapore from the Goethe Institut. Most recently she is preparing a new project on sound and choreography, which will premiere at Kampnagel Hamburg in January 2011.
