Manolo Risso-o-Ricci
... studied at the Rome Academy. He worked in various productions in Italy before dancing between 1995 and 1998 at the state theatre in Weimar and the state theatre in Basel under the direction of Joachim Schlömer. He danced in Peter Sellers' opera production "Le Grand Macabre" by György Ligeti as well as in works by Joachim Schlömer at the Salzburger Festspielen in 1998. He was a guest artist in Munster with Daniel Goldin in 1999 and 2000. Manola has worked consistently with Mark Sieczkarek over many years and danced in three of his previous works, "Drops of Rain in Perfect Days of June", "Red Hot" and "Home-thoughts from abroad".
