Manuel Pelmus studied at the Floria Capsali Dance School in Bucharest and at the Hamburg School of Ballet. Since 1998, he works as a freelance dancer and choreographer. His works including Outcome und Punct have been shown at the Tanz im August Festival (Berlin), De Singel Arts Center (Antwerp), the Judson Church (New York), the Centre National de la Danse (Paris), Junge Hunde (Ljubljana), and PICA (Portland).
