... received trained as a dancer and modern dance teacher at the Folkwang Academy in Essen. She has danced in the Netherlands, with the José Limón Dance Company in New York and with the Folkwang Tanzstudio Company under the artistic directorship of Pina Bausch and Henrietta Horn. Subsequently, she taught at the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz in Dresden and at various universities in the USA, where she also choreographed.
