..., trained at the Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Rome and at the Folkwang Academy in Essen. She was the long time choreographic assistant and dancer for Lucia Latour. In 1990, she co-founded the Ensembles TaKo for whom she has created numerous works. At this time she also began to direct spoken and musical theatre at, amongst others, the Theater Neumarkt in Zürich, the Schauspielhaus Hamburg and the Staatsoper Stuttgart. Since 1991 she has taught contemporary dance at the Folkwang Academy and in December 1999 she took up a professorial post at the Palucca School in Dresden.
