Rita Natálio (PT) was born in Lisbon in 1983 and graduated in History from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and in Choreographic Art from the University Paris VIII with the assistance of a grant from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.She studied as a performer at Forum Dança at the Choreographic Research Program 2006 (Lisbon) with Vera Mantero, João Fiadeiro, Emmanuelle Huyn, Mathieu Doze e Nicolas Floc’h and has participated in various composition and improvisation workshops with, amongst others, Christian Rizzo, Loic Touzé, Armando Menicacci.

Her artistic and teaching activities mainly focus on dramaturgy and developmental support of artistic and research projects.
