Sandra Iché
Sandra Iché studied History and Political Sciences at the Pantheon-Sorbonne University in Paris. In 2004 she joined the two year research cycle at P.A.R.T.S. and from 2006 performed internationally with the dance company Maguy Marin/Centre Chorégraphique National de Rillieux-La-Pape. Since 2010, she has conducted artistic research on the logic of naturalization of constructed social realities and the fabrication and writing of history through performances, interviews, films and publications. In 2009 she published ›L’Orient-Express: Chronique d’un magazine libanais des années 1990‹ and in 2012 conceived the performance ›Wagons Libres‹ a futurist fiction which deploys theater to deconstruct documentary devices. Sandra Iché currently lives between Beirut and Lyon where she is one of the founding members of ›LIEUES‹, an experimental art space, and ›rodéo‹, a multidisciplinary magazine serving as a platform for artistic and academic practices.
