Sanna Myllylahti
Sanna Myllylahti is a Finnish independent choreographer and dancer based in Amsterdam. She studied at The School for Modern Theatre Dance at the Amsterdam School of the Arts and after graduating in 1996 won the "Ineke Sluiter Choreography Prize" in Holland for her solo choreography, "Still alive with the flower". Since then she has created her own works in Germany, Holland, Sweden and Finland. She has worked as a guest choreographer for various dance companies including the Ballet Vorpommen, the Folkwang Tanzstudio and the Routacompany. As a performer she has appeared in, amongst others, works by Marie Cecile de Bont, Itzik Galili, Martin Butler, Roberto Galvan, Keren Levin and Peter Greenaway. She also works regularly as a guest teacher for companies and several schools in Europe including the Folkwang Tanzstudio company in Essen, the School for Modern Dance in Amsterdam, the dance department of the Theatre Academy in Helsinki and the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance.
