Sigal Zouk
Dancer Sigal Zouk (IL/D), was born in 1971 in Haifa/Israel and has worked in Berlin since 1997. She studied at the Emek Yizreel Dance School, the Kibbutz Dance Company School and with the Batsheva Company in Tel Aviv/Israel.Having worked with Helge Musial, Luc Dunberry (1998) and Sasha Walz & Guests in ›DIALOGUE II‹ at the Jewish Museum Berlin, she was a member of the Company Sasha Walz & Guests in Berlin from 1999 to 2004. During this time, she also collaborated on productions with Luc Dunberry, Juan Cruz Diaz de Esnaola, Andreas Harder und Sharon Paz.
Since 2005, Sigal Zouk is a member of Damaged Goods led by Meg Stuart at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin. She continues to work with Sasha Walz on a guest basis. In May 2007, she worked as choreographic assistant for Meg Stuart and Philip Gehmacher on their production ›MAYBE FOREVER‹ and is currently working with Laurent Chétouane.
