... was born in Inchon, Korea and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she began her dance training with Loyce Houlton. She continued her dance studies at the School of American Ballet and Mr. Baryshnikov's American Ballet Theatre school in New York City. She has danced professionally with American Ballet Theatre, San Francisco Ballet (where she was nominated for the Princess Grace Award), Zurich Ballet and Alberta Ballet. In 2000, she became a freelance artist working most notably with Peter Sellars and Mark Morris in John Adams' opera, Nixon in China, at the London Coliseum. This is her first season with White Oak Dance Project.
