German choreographer, dancer and teacher, Thomas Lehmen studied at the School for New Dance Development (SNDO) in Amsterdam. Since 1990, he has developed numerous works and projects which have been shown worldwide and are shaped by conceptual methods and forms of presentation. Lehmen’s works are repeatedly concerned with communication, cybernetics and how people both see and influence their surroundings. He teaches regularly at several universities and holds workshops worldwide. To date he has presented the following productions at PACT Zollverein:  ›Lehmen lernt‹ (2006), ›Heromatik‹ (2008) and ›Schrottplatz‹ in 2010. The German premiere of his latest work ›Bitte‹ follows in spring 2013.
