... was born in 1981 in Bochum. She first studied Graphic Design at the Ruhrakademie in Schwerte, then Photography and Multimedia and later Film. While studying she made mainly documentary works. In 2004, she became interested in photographing dance after seeing the performance Globalost Sunday by Samir Akika. In October she concluded her Photography studies with her Diploma dissertation Tanzer. Next year she will graduate in Film and Multimedia from the Ruhrakademie.
