Yael Ronen
Yael Ronen (IL), born in Jerusalem in 1976, is one of the most important and provocative theatre makers in Israel. She studied playwriting at the HB studio in New York, and directing at Seminar Hakibbutzim in Tel Aviv. Productions that she has created include Reiseführer in das gute Leben (Travel Guide to the Good Life, 2003, Habima National Theatre), Plonter (2005, Cameri Theatre of Tel Aviv), an adaptation of Antigone (2007, Staatsschauspiel Dresden), Nut Case (2008, Habima National Theatre) and Bat Yam (2008, Wroclawski Teatr Wspolczesny).
