With the tightly orchestrated yet chaotic movement landscapes of ›Foreshadow‹, groundbreaking Belgian dancer, choreographer and circus performer, Alexander Vantournhout takes a bold new step in his exploration of the relationships between gravity, movement, balance, and spatiality. In addition to the floor, the wall now also becomes an active partner to eight acrobat-dancers moving like interlocking gears of a collective body. Set to experimental rock music by the British band This Heat, ›Foreshadow‹, sees the performers exploring quasi-impossible balances, challenging one another, defying gravity and pushing the boundaries of physical possibility.
