In Stephanie Thiersch’s production ›Bronze by Gold‹ seven performers, a string quintet and a DJ rally to form a utopian community. Fired on by DJ Elephant Power’s pounding bass beats and virtuoso scratch techniques, they throw themselves into a fast, furious and seductive mix of contemporary dance, tableaux vivants, string quartet and club music that boldly shakes up iconic images of a society that celebrates itself, resigns, moves on, and ultimately has to survive.
