Russell Maliphant, recipient of a South Bank Show Award in 2003, is one of the UK's most exciting choreographers. His work is known for its grace, clarity, and technical excellence and for its fluent integration of light with movement. The programme presented by his company at PACT features the mesmerising and lyrical male solo – ›One Part II‹, set to music by J. S. Bach; the acclaimed duet Critical Mass, a concentrated duel of ducking and diving moves in which the two male dancers effortlessly exchanging weight as they undergo their journey. Also part of the evening is: ›Two Times 2‹ in which two female dancer are ›trapped‹ within a box of light, their movements elegant and dazzling;
