FIVE SIX SEVEN EIGHT – FOLKWANG ACADEMY GRADUATION PERFORMANCE
- Premiere
- Performance Dance
»With what expectations do we arrive at our graduation performance, how do we present and represent ourselves within the group that for years now has been our class, our shared society«?
With a sharp eye for modern society and lifestyles, Juan Kruz Diaz de Garaio Esnaola draws on the viewpoints of his young cast members as they approach their graduate performance and considers with them how we face up to questions of competition, ambition, manipulation, judgement, need and desire. ›five six seven eight‹ is his choreography in collaboration with 4th year students from the Folkwang Academy in Essen.
