Wim Vandekeybus’s internationally renowned company Ultima Vez appears for the first time in Germany with an all new cast of eight young performers who began working together at the start of this year. Famous for his radically physical and explosive choreography, the Flemish artist experiments in ›nieuwZwart‹ (New Black) with different forms of physicality and explores themes such as humankind’s ambivalence to the existence of the present, how the body transforms in response to its environment and how natural instinct is both inevitable and irrevocable.

Accompanied live on stage by the compelling sounds of the eclectic and adventurous Belgian rock musician Mauro Pawlowski - guitarist with the Belgian band dEUS – Ultima Vez’s young performers draw the audience into a new world of wild, untamable energy.
