Walking, talking, improvisation and reflection - the ›walk+talk‹ performance lecture format curated by Philipp Gehmacher offers an insight into individual choreographers’ thoughts and movement language. Rather than proffering explanations, the resulting works question and reformulate the featured artists’ approaches to movement in words. Developed at Tanzquartier Wien in 2008, the series includes works by Gehmacher, Milli Bitterli and eight other well known choreographers.
