Choreographer and dancer, Henrietta Horn, studied from 1987 to 1992 at the Deutsche Sporthochschule (German Academy of Sport) in Cologne where she majored in “Elementary dance”. In 1992 she continued her education at the Folkwang Academy graduating from the professional dance course in 1996. She subsequently worked as a freelance dancer and choreographer and in 1999 became the co-artistic director of the Folkwang Tanzstudio together with Pina Bausch. Alongside the works she choreographs for the company she also makes and performs her own solo work, collaborates on projects with musicians and composers and regularly leads choreography workshops in countries including Indonesia, Cameroon and Japan.
