knowbotiq (Yvonne Wilhelm and Christian Huebler) experiment with forms and medialities of knowledge, political representation and so-called ‘epistemic disobedience’. In their projects they investigate landscapes of the political with a special focus on algorithmic governmentality, economies of affect and postcolonial violence. Through installation and intervention, for example in the urban space, knowbotiq explore molecular, psychotropic and derivative forms of representation. Their works have been shown internationally, including at the Venice Biennale, the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism, the New Museum (New York), the Kiasma (Helsinki), the Hamburg Kunstverein, the HKW (Berlin), and at Interkultur Ruhr. knowbotiq teach at Zurich University of the Arts.
