Lee Méir
Lee Méir is a Berlin-based choreographer, performer, and costume designer. At the core of her work lies an on-going search for how we make sense out of things explored through the interplay between chaos and order, randomness and control, and is rooted in her vision of art as a nexus of ideas, people, and craft.
Lee ́s work, ranging from solo to collective formats, has been presented in venues and festivals such as the Brighton Festival, Tanz im August Berlin/HAU Hebbel am Ufer, Heidelberg Tanzbiennale, Tanzquartier Vienna, amongst others. Lee is a 2019 recipient of the Pina Bausch Fellowship in cooperation with L’Ecole des Sables in Senegal. Recently, Uferstudios Berlin selected Lee as their representing artist for the 2023-2024 Creative Crossroads Program by the European Network Project Life Long Burning.
