Marie-Lena Kaiser
Marie-Lena Kaiser is a choreographer and dancer based in Essen. Her choreographic work is rooted in group processes and explores concepts of togetherness and encounter with a movement-based and playful approach. Since graduating from the Folkwang University of the Arts in 2016, she has shown her work at PACT Zollverein (Essen), tanzfaktur Köln and various festivals. In 2018, she received the Pina Bausch Fellowship, which enabled her to collaborate in Mozambique with choreographer Horácio Macuácua. As a performer, Marie-Lena Kaiser has toured in Germany, Europe and China with the company performing:group and also regularly works with Lee Méir. In 2021 Marie-Lena started the Master's programme ›Choreography and Performance‹ at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies in Gießen.
