... was born in Italy in 1970 and studied theatre and scenography at the Arts Academy in Milan. He also studied voice (amongst other occasions during an intercultural project of Teatro Sole) and Bhuto dance. Working with Thomas Richards brought him in contact with the theatre of Grotowski. Max Cuccaro worked as an actor with several companies, while at the same time continuing his own work (painting, scenography). In 1998 he was an actor/dancer in "The Day of Heaven and Hell", a production by Wim Vandekeybus, inspired by the life and works of Pasolini. Between 1999 and 2001 he participated in the creation and touring of two other Ultima Vez productions, "In Spite of Wishing and Wanting" and "Inasmuch as Life is borrowed". last year, he gave several workshops together with Rasmus Ölme, with whom he also created the performance "L'Art de la fuite" produced by vzw sA/REFUG-collective and EL Ojo de la Faraona.
