..., born in 1976 in Antwerp, studied dance under the direction of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. In 1995 he won the "Best Belgian Dance Solo Award" and in 1997 was invited by Alain Platel to join in the creation of Iets op Bach. In 2001 he created his first evening length and highly successful production, "Rien de rien", for Les Ballets C. de la B. Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui received a Nijinsky award at the Monaco Dance Forum 2003. FOI, his latest production for Les Ballets C. de la B and co-produced by PACT Zollverein, can be seen at PACT in May 2004.
