Tine van Aerschot
Tine Van Aerschot studied visual arts and computer graphics and has worked for the arts centre STUK and the dance festival Klapstuk (Leuven). Alongside working in the fields of graphic design and photography, she is an artistic advisor to companies and artists including Dennis O’Conner, Meg Stuart, Davis Freeman, Sara Chase, Christine De Smedt and Simone Aughterlony. She also regularly leads workshops for young artists at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and Ghent University.In 2006, she wrote the text for her first theater production, ›I have no thoughts and this is one of them‹, which was performed by Claire Marshall of Forced Entertainment. Following this she created the text based project ›Summer-school‹, the multimedia project ›The Whereabouts of Trevor Wells‹, which was also part of the exhibition ›A room of one’s own‹ (in Brussels and Berlin) and a further theatre production ›Triple Trooper Trevor Trumpet girl‹ with Carly Wijs and Tracy Wright. In 2009 she began working with Tracy Wright on ›We are not afraid of the dark‹.
