Ofira Henig / Khalifa Natour

Together with the famous film and theatre actor Khalifa Natour and the visual artist Ashraf Hanna, Ofira Henig describes the lengthy journey of those who become stranded in their search for a place of refuge in Europe. The landscapes that they cross are particularly eloquent: animals and trees that become involuntary and uncomprehending witnesses of their journey. These otherwise silent observers now raise their voices and draw attention to stories of flight and displacement.
