fieldworks: Portrait is a three-day performative exhibition devoted to the work of Heine Avdal and Yukiko Shinozaki and their international performance group fieldworks. The show focuses on diverse aspects of the group’s artistic practise, which incorporates dance, music, performance and visual art. fieldworks have presented seven productions at PACT between 2012 and 2017. In their playful and intimate performances, fieldworks unswervingly search for the hidden poetry of day-to-day life. The audience is invited to experience artistic interventions, video works, installations, talks and performances throughout PACT, to reflect on their own perceptions and discover new perspectives. fieldworks is led by choreographers Yukiko Shinozaki and Heine Avdal.

In fieldworks: Portrait, Shinozaki and Avdal present selected productions and installations in the company of several invited guest artists.

The WerkStadt will also host a video installation during the entire exhibition period.
