What happens to plastic from the moment it is disposed of in household waste? How does plastic recycling actually work and does the current recycling system work at all? Workshop leaders Steffen Hartwig and Dustin Jessen, who in 2022 opened ›Das Rezyklat‹, the first Precious Plastic Workspace in the Ruhr region, vividly bring the complexities of issues around recycling closer to home by showing us how we ourselves can transform plastic waste into new things.

All materials are provided but participants are welcome to bring along their own pre-cleaned plastic waste. Please note that only HDPE (recycling code 02) and PP (05) can be used.

Participation is free of charge and limited to 10 people per workshop. Registration is by e-mail to: team@pact-werkstadt.de
