Antonia Baehr
lachen & for faces
- Performance Performance
Info
›Lachen‹ is a piece about the phenomena of laughing. Exploring laughter as a form of expression disconnected from any particular causes, Antonia Baehr focuses on the very act itself - on the sound, shape, music, choreography, rhythm and gesture of laughter. Although comedy is not her aim, there is nothing more infectious than laughter!
›For Faces‹ is a micro-choreography for the faces of four interpreters at the centre of a small amphitheater. Their imperceptible slow transformations of expression reveal the complexity behind the supposed normality of faces as well as the fictive potential latent in both the theatre and everyday life.
