Love, Spells and All That, 2019, Ümit Ünal, 96 mins.
As teenagers, Eren, the daughter of a powerful politician, and Reyhan, the daughter of an employee working for Eren's father, were in love. However, when their forbidden relationship was discovered, the two girls were forced to separate and live their lives from then apart from each other.
Twenty years after the end of their love affair, Eren seeks out her former teenage love on the enchanting island of Büyükada—the very place where their love story began. Eren is still deeply in love with Reyhan, but Reyhan firmly believes that Eren's return is not by choice. Instead of love, she’s convinced that it was a spell she cast on Eren twenty years ago that has compelled her to come back to the island. Reyhan's conviction is so unwavering that she eventually even persuades the determined Eren of it.
In a bid to finally find closure, the two women embark on a journey to break the spell. Will they succeed in undoing the enchantment, or is there a bond between them that transcends mere magic?
